> She is the wife of former Philippine president Diosdado Macapagal and the mother of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao
> Manny Pacquiao was born on December 12, 1976 in Kibawi, Bukidnon. A professional boxer, he is the only Filipino and the first Asian to have clinched a world boxing title in four different divisions. In the world of boxing, he is also called “the Mexican assassin” for beating three famous Mexican fighters, namely: Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barerra, and Erik Morales. From Gen. San., Manny won his fourth belt last June 28, 2008 in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, when he won against David Diaz.

Bayang Barrios
> One of the country’s beautiful voices and known for her indigenous music style. She was born on June 12, 1968, while the National Anthem was being played in a nearby school. She got her name through a Manobo tradition wherein the first sound or first thing seen will be the name of the child. Bayang is a full-blooded Manobo from Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. She is the one who sang the closing theme of GMA-7 fantaserye “Encantadia”.
